Starter Interface Options

Open SiteSearch WebZ software includes three basic starter interfaces. One or all of these interfaces can be applied to a library's site.

Non Frames Interface

Frames Interface

The non-frames version meets the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Frames Interface

Non-Frames Interface

The frames interface provides an integrated reference solution for high level access.

Virtual Library Catalog

Resource Sharing

A starter interface for the virtual catalog is included in the WebZ software.

In many libraries and consortia, resource sharing is integral to extending access to materials. New resource sharing arrangements necessitate seamless access to shared union catalogs or other library catalogs. Using Open SiteSearch WebZ, your library can eliminate multiple interfaces and search commands to different systems and bring systems together for your users.

With WebZ, users have integrated access to multiple catalogs through a single interface. Users can select the libraries to search and then execute a search across all catalogs simultaneously.
