Advanced Search

Open SiteSearch WebZ provides robust functionality to support advanced searchers. Users can set limits on their searches, including date and language. Your library may define the limits for each database.

WebZ supports a full range of advanced search functionality, including searches in multiple indexes combined with Boolean operators. WebZ also supports truncation, wildcards, and proximity operators.

Additionally, result sets can be sorted on one or multiple indexes, allowing users to control the order in which records are presented.

The Advanced Search interface is also fully customizable by the library.
