Basic Search

The Open SiteSearch WebZ software provides a common, Web-accessible user interface to your resources. Your library can create a unique interface designed for your users, using the fully customizable WebZ interface. Your library can use one of the WebZ starter interfaces or customize an interface as little or as much as you desire.

The WebZ interface integrates access to your library’s electronic resources, making access easier and quicker for your users. From the database selection screen, your user can chose to do a basic search, of topic areas, individual databases, catalogs, or a patron customized search.

WebZ also allows Boolean search terms to be entered from the basic search command line.
