Extracting
and Displaying BER Records in SSDOT for Pears
You may want to
share records among Pears databases by
simply dumping them out of one and loading them into another without converting
them or you may want to review BER records to decide which indexes to
create for a database. In either case, you must first export the records
in BER format. SSDOT for pears provides
two options for extracting BER formatted records from a Pears
database. One allows you to view the records on screen and the second
allows you to export them to a file. The procedures for performing both
of these activities are outlined in the tables below.
