Document Conventions

• <WebZ_root> is the location of your WebZ environment.
• 4.0.x refers to any SiteSearch 4 version prior to 4.1.0; that is, 4.0.0, 4.0.0a, 4.0.1, or 4.0.2.

Description

The defaultStyle.ini configuration file is the interface style configuration file for the default style of the WebZ Out-of-the-Box Interface (OBI) in SiteSearch 4.0.x versions. By modifying the contents of the defaultStyle.ini file, you can control how the interface appears to the user. defaultStyle.ini is also available in SiteSearch 4.1.0 as part of the OBI, version 0.

The OBI, version 1 in SiteSearch 4.1.0 introduces a new approach to interface style configuration files, that of a base style configuration file and associated files.

Location: The defaultStyle.ini file is located in the <WebZ_root>/ini/interface/obiv0 directory of your WebZ installation beginning with SiteSearch 4.1.0, and in the <WebZ_root>/ini/interface directory in SiteSearch 4.0.x.

Important Note: If you wish to change the appearance of the OBI, we strongly recommend that you make a backup copy of defaultStyle.ini before modifying the contents of the file.
