Browse Results Screen

Purpose

The Record Builder application's Browse Results screen displays the results of a browse request. It includes the terms in the database that precede and follow the browse term in the database index (or indexes) you specified on the Browse screen.


When Displayed

Record Builder displays the Browse Request screen after you execute a browse request from the Browse screen.

Usage Notes

  • The Current EditSession information includes the browse term you entered and the database you are browsing.
  • The number that follows each term is a count of records that contain the term.
  • To see a list of records that contain a term, click the number beside the term.
  • Click Previous terms button or Next terms button to display the previous or next terms in the database, respectively.
  • Click the Refine button button to refine the search by trying another index or another browse term.

Next Action

If you click the number beside a term, Record Builder displays the records that contain the term on the Search Results screen.
