Procedure 2: Locate the Display Formatting Configuration Files

Once you have finished designing your format, you need to locate the files that must be modified to implement it. While a formatting configuration file is always used to create or modify a format, you may optionally need to update structures within a database configuration file and an interface display configuration file as well.

Directories

The following table lists the directories on your system where you can find the configuration files that you may need to open and change in order to implement a new or modified format.
