Configuring the WebZ Extension for Record Builder

Record Builder is an application included with Open SiteSearch Database Builder and operates as another instance of Open SiteSearch WebZ. As such, the Open SiteSearch WebZ Extension software serves as the gateway between standard HTTP browsers and Web servers. (See Record Builder Process Model and System Overview for a graphical view of the Record Builder system architecture.) To access Record Builder through a browser, you must configure its WebZ Extension to work with a third-party Web server.

Requirements

You must install Database Builder before configuring the extension for a specific Web server.

Procedure

Complete the appropriate instructions listed below for your platform and Web server.

Note:  You must configure both the WebZ extension for WebZ and the WebZ extension for Record Builder.
