OCLC-led Training Session: Advanced Rules-Based Formatting

 

Introduction

OCLC kicks off its annual SiteSearch User Meeting on Monday afternoon, May 7, 2001 by conducting an in-depth discussion and demonstration of WebZ rules-based formatting. Interested users should sign up for the training session as part of their meeting registration. The training session is limited to twenty participants on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Prerequisites

This class is targeted for advanced SiteSearch users who have participated in days one and two of the standard OCLC SiteSearch WebZ training course and who are interested in modifying Java classes to affect the formatting of their data. Additionally, participants should have knowledge and experience with UNIX and a UNIX editor such as emacs, vi, or pico to get the most out of this session.
