Load Balancing .load File Purpose/Syntax

• OpServe maintains .load files for each server type containing:

  • Hostid, Host, Port, OpServe port, Load factore.g. 01,odin.dev.oclc.org,3498,3501,1

• Servers locate other services with .load files

• Servers are polled to update the .load file and server statistics are written
