Building a Database SSDOT- Steps

Suggested steps to using SSDOT to build a database:

• Create a directory with the database name.

• Copy the raw data and the database description file for that data into the database directory.

• Start SSDOT.

• Register the database with SSDOT.

• Initialize the files.

• “Update” the files - will load the records.

Note: For each update, only repeat last step.
