Database Description File Sparse Keyword Option for Indexes

• Allows for browsing of indexes that have a limited number of sparsely distributed index terms,

  • for example: format type or language

• Creates an additional entry for each term

• Syntax:

index (index id): sparse indexing rule...

• Example:

index(11): sparse words()from(041/1) \

with (fldid,pos)
