Database Description File Setting up Index Definitions

• Syntax:

index(index id): routine (<parm>) from (fieldlist) \ [with(positional info list)]

• Example:

index(1): words() from(245/1) with(fldid, pos)

What it says:

Index 1 -- use words keyword routine on field 245/1 build adjacency using pos and fldid routines.
