User Meeting Announcements

OCLC held the 3rd OCLC SiteSearch User Meeting on March 22-24, 1999 at OCLC's facilities in Dublin, Ohio. The 1999 User Meeting offered two OCLC-led training courses, as well as user-led sessions and site presentations. The goal for the User Meeting was to offer a forum where users can receive information about the future direction of the OCLC SiteSearch suite, see how other users have implemented OCLC SiteSearch 4.0, and learn more about how to customize the software to meet your library's needs. Approximately 37 users from 26 institutions traveled to Ohio to attend the main portion of the meeting.

The OCLC SiteSearch staff worked with the following SiteSearch user representatives to ensure that this meeting focused on topic areas that are of interest to SiteSearch implementers:

  • Phil Boyer, Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC)
  • Tari Keller, University of Kentucky
  • Kurt Kopp, University of Missouri
  • Peter Ivanick, Lehigh University
  • Jenny Levine, Suburban Library System

A special thank you to these SiteSearch users who participated in the meeting planning process!
